Digicel’s Treasure Hunt Summer Promotion Ends on a High Note
“5 Lucky Customers, Thousands of Dollars Richer”
Digicel brought excitement to the football stadium on Sunday at half-time when they did their final Draw for their $100,000 Treasure Hunt Summer Promotion.
Spectators looked on with excitement as the 5 finalist from Digicel’s summer anticipated what their cash prize winnings would be. The five finalists were: Oswald Noland, Florencetine Morton, Valerie Nisbett, Joseph Isaac and Ted Brandy.
All five finalists were lined up and instructed to run to the Treasure Chest, where they had to take their final dip for a token which would reveal a number. The numbers corresponded with five Digigirls holding a folder in their hands. The Digigirls were asked to reveal their number. The contestants took their spot next to their corresponding number and opened the folders where their cash prizes were revealed.
Digicel awarded all five lucky customers with cash prizes and each of them walked away thousands of dollars richer.
Joseph Isaac from Cardin Avenue was the BIG cash winner in Digicel’s Treasure Hunt promotion, walking away with $15,000. Joseph said he was very excited but had no immediate plans at the moment. He did say he will definitely have to spend some of the cash on a new washing machine.
Ted Brandy from Brick Kiln - Nevis, walked away with the second largest amount of $10,000, he said he was feeling great but had no immediate plans to spend the money as yet.
Florencetine Morton of Cayon also won $10,000, she expressed that she felt good but had no plans.
Valerie Nisbett of Douglas Street said she felt relieved winning $7,500. She said she was praying that she was one of the finalists. She also stated, “It’s good to be with Digicel, it pays off to be with Digicel and I am looking to buy a new car.”
Oswald Noland of Sandy Point won $7,500, he said he was feeling good and will be placing his winnings on the accounts of his twin daughters, age 11.
Sharez Laws – Marketing Manager for Digicel said, “The promotion went a lot better than we anticipated. Customers were very excited looking out for clues every Thursday and Friday and some persons even text in to 2588 to get their clues early.”
Sharez further mentioned, “Given the economic times we are currently facing, we chose to split the lump sum between the 5 as we thought it would be more beneficial to share the wealth and prove a true testament to one of our company’s value which is giving back to all our customers.”
