DIGICEL CONTINUES TO IMPROVE COVERAGE FOR CUSTOMERS IN FEDERATION
New Cell Site commissioned in Brown Hill, Nevis
BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS (January 30th, 2012) – In keeping with its commitment to ensuring that customers always benefit from the best value, best service and best network, Digicel continues to improve its services to the people of both St. Kitts and Nevis. Late last year, three new cell sites were brought on stream in St. Kitts in the vicinities of Half Moon Bay & Calypso Bay in Frigate Bay and also the Camps & Mattingley Heights areas. Digicel customers now in the Brown Hill, Nevis and surrounding proximity are experiencing better coverage and service with the new cell site that was integrated earlier this month.
Since the new cell sites across both St. Kitts and Nevis have been commissioned, Digicel customers have been enjoying better call quality and stronger signal. A very pleased Digicel customer in Nevis, Noah Mills, Managing Director of Nevis-based SEN Consulting expressed, “With its new cell site on Nevis, service just keeps on getting bigger and better from Digicel, thereby allowing SEN Consulting to grow even more. I immediately noticed that coverage was improved and my clients can easily connect to me on my Digicel phone no matter where in Nevis I am located.”
“We are continuing to ensure that all Digicel customers are able to access and enjoy our services no matter where they are on the island. Late last year, we made an improvement to the network on the island of St. Kitts and promised Nevisians of the same, and I am very happy that our hard-working team has made this happen,” said Sean Latty, Country Manager for Digicel St. Kitts and Nevis.
With the recent introduction of these cell sites across the Federation, customer satisfaction by all Digicel customers has increased, providing faster communication, entertainment and information; and more choices with a wide range of handsets.
