Thursday 8^th July, 2010 – BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS: Digicel sent off one of their postpaid customers this morning en route to South Africa. Michael Powell simply paid his bill on time and in full. On Tuesday 8^th June, on Digicel’s WinnFM program DigiChat, he received a call from Digicel delivering him the good news.

Michael Powell and Marsha Lindo, staff promotional winner, local awardees of this once in a lifetime trip will be joining 37 other Digicel winners across the Caribbean to watch the final football game live in Johannesburg, South Africa on Sunday 11^th July, 2010. All compliments of the Bigger, Better Network, tickets to the game, flights, luxury accommodation, spending money, a safari tour and a huge package of exclusive FIFA paraphernalia, valued at US$60,000 were awarded to the winners.

Digicel’s Marketing Executive, Genieve Hanley was present at the RLB International Airport to warmly send off the winners. Ms. Hanley stated, “As proud supporters of local, regional and international sports, it is our absolute delight to award one of our customers a once in a lifetime experience such as this one.
