Last year, Digicel customers were treated to a fun and exciting experience with the Network, as fantastic prizes were hidden around Basseterre & Charlestown for them to find and win. This year, Digicel has added even more thrilling twists and big prizes for its valued customers to enjoy.
With Digicel’s 2010 Treasure Hunt, customers who text the word CLUE to 2588 or listen to their local radio stations will receive a clue to search for the Digicel Treasures hidden in popular locations around the Federation’s capital cities. The person who is lucky enough to find it, will dip into the Digicel Treasure Chest to WIN:
- Cash
- Handets
- Credit
- All-expense paid Trips (to Antigua, St. Maarten or Puerto Rico)
- School Book Vouchers
- A whole Month’s Salary (up to $3,000).
Plus, every time Digicel customers top up $15 or more, purchase any handset on special, sign up for any postpaid plan or pay their bills in full and on time, they will be handed a Treasure Hunt scratch card. Each card bears a letter, and should the customer spell out the word ‘TREASURE’ he/she too will dip into the Digicel Treasure Chest and qualify for the $10,000 Grand Prize Draw, which will take place after the promotion ends on 3rd September, 2010.
The new and highly anticipated Digicel Treasure Hunt was launched officially on Friday 16th July. The DigiTeam hit the airwaves hard with an engaging Treasure Hunt ad on blast all day and live radio interviews hosted from their Flagship store on Fort Street. Listeners were encouraged to visit the store and show their Digicel phones to get free credit. One customer in particular rushed in to not only show her current Digicel phone for her free top-up, but also to take advantage of the special Treasure Hunt discount on the Blackberry 8900. She excitedly stated, “This is nice! The Bigger, Better Network is the best!”
