DIGICEL RECOGNIZES ITS NUMBER ONE CUSTOMERS
Offers lowest SMS, inter-connect, and select International rates
Basseterre, St. Kitts (July 20, 2006) The launch of the two-day Digi-Double promotion last Friday and Saturday, alongside a two-day island-wide road show to bring the good news to its customers that all denominations of top-up would be doubled, is being hailed by Digicel's Market Manager Kevin Edwards, as a major success.
I'm very pleased with the response that we have received from the Digi-Double two day campaign, which allowed us to give back to our customers. Notwithstanding that special offer, to show our appreciation for the support Digicel has received from the people of the federation, we are offering the lowest SMS, lowest inter-network calling rates, as well as lowest International rates to Canada, UK, and USA, Edwards said.
In the spirit of Digi-Double, double twins were very lucky recipients of complimentary Panasonic A100 handsets and $50 free credit during the Digi-Double promotion. Additionally, every half-hour throughout Digi-Double Friday, persons who topped up the most during that period of time, received a complimentary $100 top-up from Digicel. Some of the recipients included Miriam Howe, Kurt Carty, Lionel Williams and Eldridge Tobias.
This past Tuesday, Alanna Francis was announced on WinnFM, as the winner of the text-to-win competition. Ms. Francis received a complimentary Motorola V3 Razor with $300 free calling credit and is the second winner in the text-to-win promotion. The winner of the next text-to-win competition will receive a phone of their choice, plus $500 free calling credit, as well as dinner and one-night for two at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.
