The final draw event took place in great style at Digicel’s Flagship Store on Fort Street and attracted a crowd of anxious supporters which grew and grew to cheer on each finalist who spun the Wheel of Fortune to determine what portion of $50,000 cash they will be taking away with them. The randomly selected finalists became eligible to win during the Digicel Christmas Wheel of Fortune Promotion by either simply topping up their phones, paying their bills on time and in full, or by purchasing any handset worth $99 or more during the life of the promotion from November 20th to January 8th.
The big winner at the draw was Ms. Juliette Warner, spinning the wheel in high anticipation and winning $20,000. “This money that I won with Digicel today is truly a blessing for me. I needed it and I am going to put it to good use. It really pays to be a customer on the Bigger, Better Network”, said Juliette. The other elated finalists also boasted of their bountiful winnings. Roosevelt Corbin seized the sum of $10,000; Ranjit Kumar took home $8,000; Stuart Jeffers won $7,000, and McAllister Thomas walked away with $5,000.
Of course, the Bigger, Better Network had to have something exciting for the members of the audience supporting the finalists as well. Nakeysha Richardson who casually attended the Grand Prize Draw was able to testify about the ease at which any customer can win big with Digicel, as she unexpectedly was selected as the random winner of the sleek, new Blackberry 8520 handset.
Overall throughout the entire course of the promotion, the Digicel Christmas Wheel of Fortune translated into customer giveaways worth over $150,000 in cash and other prizes, one of the many original initiatives Digicel continues to take on in rewarding its customers for their loyalty.
